Movie Review: My Hero Academia: World Heroes' Mission. Some Cartoons For Saturday Morning #147. The New Scooby-Doo! Movies: The Dynamic Scooby-Doo. The villains simply look like pirates, but not at all like ghosts and they don't do anything that is honestly that creepy.Īll in all, this is a highly entertaining episode. If you were to watch this episode without the sound on, you would never know that they are supposed to be ghosts. However if I do have one complaint it is that he and his pirate crew are not ghostly enough. Redbeard is a fun villain and his interactions with Scooby and Shaggy are great. While this is not the funniest episode of the show, it does have one truly classic comedy moment, when Scooby and Shaggy disguise themselves as cooks. It is amazing the sheer amount of effort and detail that is put into this background art. I feel Warner Brothers should simply put out a book of just the background art from Scooby-Doo! cartoons. The background art is fantastic and simply lovely to look at. I especially love the design of the skull that pops out of a treasure chest. The scenes on Skull Island truly stand out and these offer some of the most fun creepy moments in the series. Skull Island (no relation to where King Kong lives) is also a great location and is perfectly creepy. A haunted pirate ship is the perfect setting for a Scooby mystery. Once again what makes this episode work so well is the atmosphere. When the gang reads about appearances of the ghost of Redbeard, they decide to go investigate and they soon find themselves aboard his spooky ship. After some time, Scooby-Doo Ghostblasters – The Mystery of the Scary Swamp storyline was developed.A really good episode of Scooby-Doo! Where Are You. Some of the elements could remain the same, but a mansion just didn’t fit the mold. Once they got there, they quickly realized they would have to design a whole new ride considering the bigger building size and the fact that it was, after all, a water ride.
The Sally design team then flew to Missouri to walk the Six Flags property and get a feel for the space. Louis, and one for Six Flags Fiesta Texas. When Jane Cooper, President of the Paramount association, mentioned how much they loved their Scooby rides, Six Flags President, Gary Story, put in an order for two – one for Six Flags St. Three Scooby-Doo Ghostblasters dark rides were operating wonderfully and had become very popular among Paramount Park guests. When it was time for the park chain to do something new, they took a note from Paramount Parks who was doing a lot with Sally Dark Rides at the time. Louis building sat empty and unused for a number of years. Scooby-Doo, Shaggy, Fred, Velma, and Daphne accompany riders through the haunted swamp, creepy castle and other dreaded dwellings as they work together to solve the monstrous mystery and deliver the true identities of dozens of super-scary villains to the Police Station.Īfter the unpopular Castaway Kids dark ride closed, the Six Flags St. Traveling on Ghostblaster boats, guests play detective while braving ghoulish tricks, discovering Scooby Snacks and scaring away ghosts with special fright lights. Entering under a creepy archway, Six Flags’ guests walk through winding, fantastical marshlands to reach the beginning of their water journey.
Hanna-Barbera characters Scooby-Doo, Shaggy, Fred, Velma, and Daphne lead guests on a high-tech, paranormal caper through a frighteningly haunted swamp.
